MassAdaption's 'Buckle' Obtains ISO 27001 and 27701 Certifications

MassAdoption Co., Ltd. (CEO Chanwoo Park), which operates the brand growth platform ‘ Buckle ’, announced on the 19th that it has obtained ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management System) and ISO/IEC 27701 (Personal Information Protection Management System) certifications, which are international standards in the fields of information security and personal information protection.

ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 are international standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO 27001 requires organizations to meet standards in four areas related to information security: information security policy, physical security, management security, and technical security. ISO 27701, on the other hand, requires organizations to meet standards in eight areas: personal information management procedures, encryption, de-identification, and service safety.

In particular, by receiving certification for both information protection (ISO27001) and personal information protection (ISO27701), the company has simultaneously strengthened its high level of security required for retention CRM and purchase conversion CRM, as well as its responsibility to protect customer information.

Buckle has been providing CRM technology-based solutions that help brands build long-term relationships with their customers. Customer data is a core asset and sensitive information in CRM strategies designed around a brand's experience, fandom, and customer behavior data.

As a company that handles client companies and their data, Buckle received this certification, which evaluated the overall management level of the information systems supporting Buckle's CRM services. It demonstrated international recognition for the reliability of the technology underlying Buckle's handling of first-party customer data, and demonstrated that Buckle has established and implemented a systematic policy framework for data protection and information security that meets international standards.
