Horang Edu Participates in the 2025 EduPlus Week Future Education Expo

Horang Edu (CEO Yoo Do-hee), an edutech startup in the field of coding and artificial intelligence (AI) education, announced on the 19th that it participated in the '2025 Eduplus Week Future Education Expo' held at COEX in Seoul from August 13th to 15th, showcased its AI/SW education service 'Horang', and concluded the event.

The "2025 Eduplus Week Future Education Expo" was a specialized education exhibition hosted by the Eduplus Week Organizing Committee and organized by Global Biz Market and the Korea Smart Edutech Cooperative. It was sponsored by various organizations, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Approximately 170 educational companies and institutions from 15 countries around the world participated, sharing educational content and technological trends in the AI era.

Horang Edu introduced "Horang," an AI/SW education service utilizing a Korean-based programming language, highlighting its potential for use in education. During the exhibition, over 700 current teachers and educators visited the booth, and inquiries were received from various educational companies and institutions.

On the final day of the exhibition, CEO Yoo Do-hee conducted a training session for teachers on the topic, "From Regular Curriculum to School-Independent Time: An Easy Guide to AI/SW Education Innovation with Hangul Coding." Furthermore, at the "2025 Eduplus Awards," held as a side event, the "Horang" service won an Excellence Award, recognizing its practical applicability and educational value.

Horang Edu is rapidly expanding its presence through recent agreements with Busan National University of Education to support AI courseware verification, collaborations with various educational institutions including the Jeollanam-do Wando Office of Education and Korea National University of Education, and entry into the "2024 East Asia EdTech 150" list selected by global education market research firm HolonIQ.

CEO Yoo Do-hee said, “Through this exhibition, we were able to communicate with many educators and confirm the real interest and potential of the ‘Horang’ service,” and added, “We will continue to collaborate with various educational institutions to provide solutions that meet the needs of AI education.”
