Cielab (CEOs Se-hyeok Yoon and Jeong-hwan Chae), a vision AI company, announced on August 18th that it had signed a single sales and supply contract with Azwell Plus for the "construction of a digital twin platform." The contract amount is approximately 1.1 billion won, representing 12.03% of Cielab's recent sales.
This contract is an extension of the semiconductor digital twin project that the two companies collaborated on last year. Based on the technological capabilities and references acquired through the existing project, Seelab plans to begin work on enhancing the platform's versatility and precision.
In this project, Seelab plans to implement a high-precision digital twin environment that can predict and monitor the entire semiconductor process in real time by combining its artificial intelligence image analysis and 3D data conversion technologies on top of NVIDIA's 3D simulation platform 'Omniverse'.
Through the establishment of this system, it is expected that operational accuracy will be improved and data loss will be minimized within a single virtual space that integrates process simulation and image data. Based on this, Seelab plans to expand its digital twin business into various high value-added industries such as automobiles, electronics, smart factories, and autonomous robots.
The company announced that it plans to integrate vision-language model (VLM) technology that can analyze video and text data, and implement "physical AI" that links simulation results to actual equipment control.
Se-hyeok Yoon, CEO of Cielab, said, “This contract demonstrates the potential for continuous performance generation in the digital twin business beyond a single project,” and added, “Based on our proven technological prowess in the existing semiconductor industry, we will expand our business into various industries.”
