
Xlog (CEO Seok-ju Jang), a real-time data replication and transfer specialist, and UNnet (CEO Joo-seop Kim), an enterprise database (DB) solution specialist, announced on the 20th that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the construction and operation of a next-generation data platform.
The two companies have agreed to collaborate to strengthen their strategic market competitiveness amidst the expanding data-centric industrial environment fueled by the accelerated transition to cloud and artificial intelligence (AI). To this end, they plan to jointly pursue data platform development projects across various fields, leveraging each company's database technology capabilities and field experience, and explore future directions for data management technology development.
Under the agreement, the two companies will strengthen their collaboration on various technical tasks, including the construction of new systems, real-time data integration, and the establishment of high-availability (H/A) environments. Furthermore, they plan to enhance market responsiveness through joint sales, technical support, and expert consulting, as well as hosting technical seminars, producing marketing content, and developing industry-specific proposals.
UNNET provides "TarantulaDB," a high-performance transaction database solution focused on the financial and public sectors. This solution, built on PostgreSQL, boasts high availability, security, and cost-effectiveness, and is being adopted across various industries. In particular, its performance and stability have been proven through its use in the order execution system (SOR) of the alternative exchange "Nextrade."
The two companies expect this collaboration to accelerate the construction of next-generation data platforms across various industries, including the public and financial sectors, and enhance the efficiency and stability of data operations.
