Roboligent, a US robotics startup developing AI and soft manipulator-based robotics technology, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Tesollo, a company specializing in automation solutions, for collaboration on robotics technology.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to combine their technological prowess in the fields of robotic arms and robotic hands to jointly develop automation solutions capable of responding to precise work environments, and establish a strategic partnership foundation for conquering the global market.
Key areas of cooperation include: ▲joint research and development for the integration of robot hand and arm technologies; ▲expansion of solutions in the manufacturing, logistics, and service sectors utilizing technology convergence products; and ▲joint global expansion, focusing on the Asian and North American markets.
Roboligent possesses AI-based control technology and a flexible, precision robotic arm solution, while Tesolo operates in the industrial automation market based on multi-degree-of-freedom robotic hand technology similar to the human hand. The two companies anticipate this collaboration will complement each other's technologies and maximize commercialization synergy.
“This collaboration will accelerate the development of next-generation robotic systems capable of automating high-difficulty tasks,” said Roboligent. “Our collaboration with Tesla will be a real turning point in expanding our global market and enhancing our product portfolio.”
A Tesolo official also said, “Rovolient’s AI and robot control technology are factors that can further enhance Tesolo’s product competitiveness,” and added, “Based on this agreement, we will continue to provide customized automation solutions to customers in various industrial fields.”
