Gom & Company Wins Excellence Award at the 2025 Eduplus Awards

Media IT solutions company Gom & Company (CEO Lee Byeong-gi) announced on the 20th that it won an Excellence Award at the '2025 Eduplus Awards'.

This awards ceremony, a side event of the "2025 Eduplus Week Future Education Expo," was organized with the goal of fostering the domestic education industry and discovering outstanding education companies. The awardees were selected through evaluations by experts and current teachers on a variety of criteria, including educational effectiveness, innovation, usability, user convenience, information security reliability, and sustainability.

Gom & Company provides educational media production software, including "Gommix," which integrates video editing, screen recording, and playback capabilities, and "Gompic," an image editing tool. Currently, related software is used by over 7,000 educational institutions nationwide, including elementary, middle, and high schools and universities, as well as approximately 5,000 companies and public institutions.

The educational effectiveness of "Gommix" was a key factor in the award. According to a case study conducted at an elementary school in Gwangju, classes utilizing the software achieved approximately four times higher satisfaction than traditional textbook-based classes, with 84% of student respondents reporting satisfaction with the program.

Gommix offers over 2,000 templates, making it accessible even to users without video production experience. It's designed to operate reliably even on low-spec environments. Its AI-based features, which reduce video production time, are also continuously being improved.

In addition, Gompic has been designated as an official examination program for the 'Digital Information Utilization Ability' certification exam and is being used as a practical tool in educational settings.

A representative from Gom & Company stated, “Through this award, we have been recognized for both our practicality and technological perfection in the educational field,” and added, “We will continue to enhance product functions and enter the global education market to contribute to improving digital literacy and the future educational environment.”
