Techtaka Co., Ltd. (CEO Yang Su-young), which operates the global integrated logistics platform 'Argo', announced that it is establishing a local corporation in Tokyo, Japan and is moving to strengthen its global logistics competitiveness.
Since its establishment in 2020, Techtaka has been providing borderless, one-stop logistics services to Argo customers based on its multi-channel integration with over 600 e-commerce platforms worldwide, including TikTok Shop, Qoo10, Shopify, and Naver Smart Store, as well as air and sea transportation and Amazon FBA logistics services.
Japan is a country with high demand for direct purchase of Korean products such as K-beauty, fashion, and convenience foods. Recently, inquiries from clients wishing to enter the Japanese market and Techtaka's sales in Japan have surged to 25%, leading to the establishment of a local corporation to support smooth fulfillment services.
Techtaka Japan operates advanced logistics services through close collaboration with local logistics partners, including rapid delivery, customs clearance, local warehouse management, and immediate response to regulatory and other issues.
Following the establishment of its Japanese subsidiary, Techtaka plans to focus on expanding its global logistics infrastructure by sequentially establishing logistics bases in key overseas regions such as Europe and Southeast Asia, and constructing new logistics centers in the central and eastern United States.
Yang Su-young, CEO of Techtaka, said, “We will enhance our logistics services by operating a local warehouse starting from our Japanese corporation and supporting domestic sellers’ entry into the Japanese TikTok Shop,” adding, “We will realize two-way logistics that provides services from Japan to Korea, in addition to reverse direct purchase.”
Meanwhile, Techtaka was selected as a third-party service provider (SPN) by Amazon in recognition of its stable global logistics processing capabilities. In July, the company secured its third investment from Naver D2SF. Since joining the Naver Fulfillment Alliance (NFA), Techtaka has been active as a key logistics partner, achieving a same-day delivery rate approaching 100%.
