LaonSecure's TouchN Mtranskey Receives Grade 1 GS Certification

Laonsecure (Co-CEOs Soonhyung Lee and Jeongah Lee), an IT security solution specialist, announced on the 22nd that its mobile virtual keypad solution 'TouchEn mTranskey v5.0' received the GS (Good Software) certification grade 1 from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).

The 'Touch N Mtranskey' that was certified this time is a product that applies Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), a security technology for the quantum computing era, and this is the first time that a PQC-based virtual keypad solution has received GS certification level 1.

GS certification evaluates comprehensive quality across nine categories, including functionality, reliability, usability, and maintainability, based on national standards. Grade 1 signifies the highest level of quality. This demonstrates that the product's technological prowess and stability have been objectively verified.

LaonSecure expects this certification to further strengthen its position as a technology leader in the PQC field. "TouchN Mtranskey" is a security solution that protects sensitive information, such as user passwords, in financial transactions and mobile authentication. It supports various keypad formats and offers both security and a great user experience.

The solution is said to have applied Laonsecure's patented 'PQC-based keypad encryption method and system' technology, and to have improved response capabilities against various security threats such as screen capture, memory hacking, and key input tracking.

Meanwhile, Raonsecure possesses PQC technology that supports both the Korean quantum-resistant cryptography (KpqC) and the US NIST standard algorithm, and has commercialized the technology by applying it to its existing security solutions, 'Key# Wireless' and 'Key# Biz'.

Additionally, as part of the quantum-resistant cryptography pilot project promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, we have been selected as the lead company in the medical field and are currently working on a project to apply PQC technology to the domestic open medical data platform.

“Through this GS certification, we have officially recognized the technological excellence and reliability of ‘Touch N Mtransky,’” said Lee Jeong-ah, CEO of Raon Secure. “We will continue to create a safer digital authentication environment based on PQC-based technology.”
