Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Hae-jeong, hereinafter referred to as Gangwon Innovation Center) announced that it is participating in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Clean Society Implementation Council' to create a transparent and trustworthy society and is actively working to spread a culture of integrity both inside and outside the organization.
On the 13th, the Gangwon Innovation Center held an "Integrity Networking" event with nine related organizations, including the Gangwon Design Promotion Agency, to explore collaborative approaches for building a transparent administrative system. At the meeting, each organization shared their current integrity and anti-corruption systems and best practices, sharing their experiences and agreeing to strengthen inter-agency cooperation to jointly promote a culture of integrity.
Additionally, to empower organizational leaders to practice integrity and exert a positive influence, the Center conducted "face-to-face integrity training" for executives to solidify their commitment to anti-corruption. Through this training, the Center fostered a deeper understanding of the importance of integrity among organizational leaders and encouraged them to set an example for their employees.
We also implemented participatory programs to raise employee awareness of integrity. As part of the "Smart Integrity Life" campaign, we ran an "Integrity Quiz" to encourage employees to learn about integrity in a fun way and naturally incorporate it into their daily lives. Furthermore, we held an internal "Integrity Slogan Contest" to foster an anti-corruption and integrity-focused atmosphere. Selected slogans were then placed on flower pots to remind employees of integrity.
An official from the Gangwon Innovation Center stated, “Integrity is more than simply following regulations; it is a culture that we all create together,” and added, “We will continue to create a culture of integrity through various programs that involve employees and the local community.”
