Youngwoo DSP, a display inspection equipment specialist, announced on the 26th through a public disclosure that it had signed a display equipment supply contract worth approximately 17.9 billion won with Samsung Display Vietnam CO., LTD.
The contract amount represents 30.3% of Youngwoo DSP's consolidated sales for 2024 (approximately KRW 59 billion). The equipment to be supplied is used in the display manufacturing process, and the contract period ends on January 15, 2025.
Youngwoo DSP manufactures and supplies OLED and semiconductor inspection equipment, focusing on display panel cell and module process inspection equipment. Recently, the company has expanded its business to include semiconductor inspection equipment and secondary battery inspection equipment, and is also diversifying into new business areas.
A company official stated, “With this order, which exceeds 30% of last year’s sales, we have secured positive momentum for future performance improvement,” and “Based on our stable cooperative relationship with our customers, we plan to pursue additional orders and improve profitability.”
