Artist Company Signs Business Agreement with Korea ST Trading

Artist Company (CEO Hwang Kyung-joo), a comprehensive content company, announced on the 27th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Korea ST Trading, an operator of a token securities (STO) distribution platform, and will cooperate in the issuance and distribution of new securities (STO) based on K-content IP.

This agreement aims to create a new investment and distribution model by tokenizing K-content IP, including dramas, movies, and actor management, and to lay the foundation for entering the global STO market. The signing ceremony took place at Artist Company's headquarters and was attended by key representatives from both companies, including Shin Dae-sik, Head of Content Production at Artist Company, and Jeong Sang-jun, CEO of Korea ST Trading.

Through this agreement, the two companies have set the following as their main areas of cooperation: ▲Planning and issuing STO products based on K-content and actor IP, ▲Joint marketing, and ▲Expansion of the global STO distribution network.

Artist Company will leverage its content production capabilities and proprietary IP to commercialize STOs and establish an entertainment investment model based on fan and investor participation. Korea ST Trading, Korea's first and only STO distribution platform company designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission, will be responsible for product distribution and institutional support.

Jeong Sang-jun, CEO of Korea ST Trading, said, “The collaboration between our two companies will serve as an opportunity to realize the potential of K-culture-based asset distribution within the STO industry,” and added, “We will secure competitiveness in the global market through transparent and efficient distribution infrastructure.”
