GAP supply based on US patents… Plans to expand global supply chain
Participation in the US 'The Material Show'…Full-fledged exchanges in overseas markets

Lifestyle textile technology company Coversummon (CEO Jaeho Lee) announced that it has completed the registration of US patents and design rights for its self-developed 'Air Kit' technology.
Coversummon is a fashion tech company developing clothing and lifestyle wear based on smart fiber material technology that utilizes natural elements like air, heat, and light. To date, the company has applied for and registered 32 domestic and international patents and 203 design and trademark (IP) rights, strengthening its technology-driven competitiveness.
The newly registered "Air Kit" technology injects air into clothing to act as a filling material, reducing weight while increasing warmth. By replacing animal-based materials, it achieves environmental friendliness and demonstrates its value as a sustainable fashion technology.
In addition, Coversummon has completed design registration for its "air-filled neck support structure." By injecting air into the neck area of the garment, the company achieves stable support and a three-dimensional shape when worn, securing both unique functionality and design competitiveness.
Notably, this US patent registration has led to commercial success, leading to supplies to the global SPA brand GAP. Through this, CoverSurman plans to expand partnerships with various overseas fashion brands and fully establish a global supply chain, including in the North American market.
Lee Jae-ho, CEO of Coversummon, said, “This achievement is a meaningful result that shows that Coversummon’s research and development capabilities, accumulated over the past eight years, have been recognized in the global market.” He added, “We will continue to introduce innovative textile technologies that can be applied across lifestyles, so that consumers around the world can enjoy sustainable and differentiated experiences.”
Meanwhile, Coversummon will participate in the global materials exhibition 'The Material Show' held in Portland, USA until the 28th of this month, showcasing smart fiber technology and eco-friendly materials and focusing on expanding overseas market exchanges.
