Dogugonggan Co., Ltd. (CEO Jinhyo Kim), an AI autonomous driving patrol robot integrated solution company, announced on August 29 that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Rainbow Robotics Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeongho Lee), a robot platform specialist company, for the joint development of a ‘quadruped AI autonomous driving patrol robot’ solution.
This agreement aims to develop an integrated solution that can respond to the unmanned and intelligent patrol service market by combining Dogu Space's AI-based autonomous driving and security technology with Rainbow Robotics' quadruped robot platform technology.
Through this joint development, Tool Space will oversee the entire patrol solution, including ▲AI-based autonomous driving system ▲security AI with object recognition and abnormal situation detection capabilities ▲space-based patrol scenario design and integrated control platform development.
Rainbow Robotics will focus on securing technological perfection and establishing a foundation for commercialization by ▲providing a high-performance quadruped walking robot platform, ▲developing precise robot control and sensor integration technology, and ▲establishing a verification and mass production system.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to complete the development of an integrated solution by the second half of 2025 and commercialize an unmanned patrol service applicable to various industrial sites, such as plants, ports, and military facilities, starting in 2026.
Tool Space's strategy is to continuously expand its AI autonomous patrol robot platform, which can be utilized in various future operating environments, and to strengthen its presence in domestic and international markets.
