
Noluniverse (CEO Bae Bo-chan), a content-based tourism platform company, announced on the 1st that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Seoul Tourism Foundation (CEO Gil Ki-yeon) to attract foreign tourists and promote local tourism.
The two companies plan to leverage the global recognition of Korean Wave content to expand domestic tourism demand and, in particular, establish a cooperative system to strengthen tourism links between Seoul and other regions. The agreement was signed on August 29th at the TenX Tower in Pangyo Techno Valley 2 in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. Representatives from both organizations, including Bae Bo-chan, CEO of Nol Universe, and Gil Ki-yeon, CEO of the Seoul Tourism Foundation, attended the signing ceremony.
Key areas of cooperation include joint marketing targeting foreign tourists in conjunction with events hosted by the Seoul Tourism Foundation, overseas promotion of local cultural and tourism resources, and tourism product development utilizing online and offline distribution networks.
Noluniverse plans to leverage its platform and CRM-based marketing capabilities to encourage foreign tourists to take interest in not only Seoul but also other regional tourist destinations in Korea through partnerships with companies like Interpark Global.
The Seoul Tourism Foundation stated that this agreement is significant in that it goes beyond simple joint marketing and represents a comprehensive model of cooperation aimed at revitalizing local tourism resources and fostering mutual prosperity. The foundation plans to expand its efforts to discover and connect diverse local content and projects to foster the shared growth of Seoul and the region.
