Jeju Free International City Development Center Holds Executive Performance Agreement Signing Ceremony

Jeju International Free City Development Center (Acting Chairman Kwak Jin-gyu, hereinafter referred to as JDC) announced on the 1st that it held a performance contract signing ceremony for the JDC management to strengthen performance-oriented responsible management in accordance with the transition to an emergency management system.

This performance contract signing ceremony was held as part of the ‘organizational operation innovation’, one of the three major directions of the ‘2025 JDC Emergency Management Promotion Plan’, to comprehensively improve the existing performance contract system and enhance the performance management system centered on management.

Key improvements include significantly expanding the scope of performance contracts from executive directors to headquarters directors and department heads, and clarifying indicators and goals linked to management evaluations and government policies.

JDC is the first organization to sign performance contracts with all department heads, including the head of the headquarters, and is making every effort to ensure company-wide performance management in preparation for the 2025 public institution management evaluation.

Previously, JDC established the "2025 JDC Emergency Management Promotion Plan" to overcome the management crisis caused by the recent decline in duty-free shop sales, and identified three major promotion directions and nine strategic tasks.

JDC Acting Chairman Kwak Jin-gyu stated, “The performance contract signed today is the starting point for change amid the organization’s management crisis. By the end of the year, all JDC executives will work together to normalize management and dedicate themselves to producing results that align with the government’s policy direction.”
