Catch Table, operated by Ward (CEO Yong Tae-soon), a company specializing in integrated food service solutions, celebrated its 5th anniversary by holding a large-scale brand campaign called 'Catch Festa' and unveiling the major trends of the past 5 years.

Launched in 2018 as a B2B reservation solution, CatchTable launched its consumer app in 2020, establishing itself as the industry's first integrated restaurant solution encompassing both B2B and B2C. It offers comprehensive services for everything from restaurant reservations and waiting, to POS and pickup, including a simple payment system called "CatchPay automatic payment," and a "0 won deposit payment" system designed to address no-shows and enhance customer convenience.

Based on these innovations, the number of accumulated members exceeded 10 million in just five years since its launch, the number of accumulated visitors through reservations and waiting reached 180 million, and the waiting time saved through real-time waiting service reached a total of 32.63 million hours, solidifying its position as Korea's leading dining platform.

Catch Table is particularly noteworthy for its ability to cater to diverse gatherings, beyond just special culinary experiences. Indeed, Catch Table has hosted 1.14 million gatherings with friends, 530,000 birthday parties, and 580,000 family gatherings, among other culinary events. Furthermore, Catch Table is also a popular platform for everyday culinary gatherings, with the most company dinner reservations (48) and gathering reservations (110). This demonstrates its position as an essential dining app, allowing anyone to easily book events for everyday occasions.

The restaurant industry's response has also been positive. Chef Kang Min-goo of Mingles, which received three Michelin stars this year, said, "Catch Table has enabled smoother communication with international customers, and has also significantly reduced employee fatigue." Furthermore, stores that had been using the B2B solution prior to the launch of the Catch Table B2C app, such as Mosu, Vinolic, and Zero Complex, also celebrated their fifth anniversary.

Furthermore, participating stores commonly cited the following benefits of Catch Table: improved operational efficiency, an influx of new customers, and increased sales. Kim Min-hoo, CEO of fine dining restaurant Up to Me, stated, "The influx of new customers through the app has steadily increased, leading to an average 15-20% increase in monthly sales." Kim Eui-do, CEO of Jinsang, a restaurant in Konkuk University, said, "Since Catch Table's launch, our sales have more than tripled."

To celebrate its 5th anniversary, Catch Table is running its brand campaign, "Catch Festa," until the 24th. This diverse program includes a first-come, first-served gourmet coupon offering up to 30% off dining at popular restaurants, a themed restaurant recommendation event called "5 Colors of Gourmet Week," and a comment event. The program aims to offer consumers new culinary experiences and business owners opportunities to boost sales.

Catch Table CEO Yong Tae-sun said, “Catch Table has grown beyond a simple reservation app into a platform that accompanies ‘all culinary moments of everyday life.’” He added, “We will continue to introduce new technologies such as AI to provide an easier and more convenient dining experience, and support business owners to increase operational efficiency and sales, growing together with the restaurant industry.”
