Expanding textbook -based learning effectiveness with AI… Strengthening learning supplement solutions.
– Utilizing Math Flat's internal assessment system… Average score of 15.9 points, up to 33 points higher than the first semester final and midterm exams.

Edtech startup Freewillin (CEO Kwon Ki-seong) has released a major update to its AI math problem bank solution, Mathplat, ahead of the second semester's exam preparation period. This update includes industry-leading support for commercial textbooks and enhanced exam preparation features. This update focuses on improving textbook usability and learning efficiency, reflecting the needs of the educational community.
With this update, Mathplatt's supported textbooks now total 3,984, the largest number of available question bank solutions in the industry. This inclusion of most major textbooks used by educational institutions nationwide is expected to enhance teachers' lesson preparation efficiency and broaden students' options.
Expanding our textbook offerings is a strategic move driven by growing demand. According to Mathplatt, textbook-related inquiries increased by more than 20% year-on-year in the first half of this year alone. We responded quickly by investing heavily in content.
Mathplat explained, "Rather than replacing existing textbooks, we designed our AI learning supplement solution to maximize the effectiveness of textbook learning for both teachers and students by providing features like error management and vulnerability analysis after learning the textbook."
Additionally, the internal exam preparation function has been enhanced. Mathplat's internal exam center is expected to significantly enhance the learning efficiency of the second semester's internal exams. This includes the ability to generate textbooks based on past exam questions by school and the "Period-based Error Study Guide," which collects individual student errors for intensive review right before exams. In fact, in the first semester, students who utilized Mathplat's internal exam center saw their final exam scores improve by an average of 15.9 points, with a maximum score of 33 points, compared to their midterm scores.
“This large-scale update will support most of the textbooks currently available on the market, enabling efficient, personalized learning for students on Mathplat with existing textbooks,” said Kwon Ki-seong, CEO of Freewillin. “We will continue to enhance our AI-based personalized learning capabilities to provide teachers with an efficient teaching tool, students with a proven solution for improving grades, and parents with a trustworthy learning environment.”
Mathplat is currently used by approximately 9,000 educational institutions nationwide, with over 2.7 million cumulative users. With a library of 850,000 math problems, it holds the top spot in sales and market share. It has also proven its global competitiveness by being named one of TIME magazine's "World's Best EdTech Companies" for two consecutive years. This update is expected to further solidify Mathplat's position as the leading math problem bank in Korea and contribute to the advancement of AI-based math education.
