Metanet is ramping up investments in globally competitive technology companies while fostering a collaborative ecosystem.
The Metanet Group announced its investment in Cast AI, a U.S.-based Application Performance Automation platform provider, and said it is deepening its strategic partnership with the company.
Beyond financial investment, Metanet is strategically working with its affiliates’ business units to support Cast AI from technical validation through to commercialization, fostering mutual growth.
Recently, the two companies successfully conducted a Proof of Concept (PoC) of Cast AI’s platform with a global manufacturing giant, and they are now expanding into industries such as distribution, IT, and more.
Founded in 2020, Cast AI is an expert in Application Performance Automation, providing solutions that drastically reduce cloud costs, improve application performance, and boost DevOps efficiency.
According to Cast AI’s 2025 Kubernetes Cost Benchmark Report, the average utilization rates for Kubernetes clusters were just 10% for CPU and 23% for memory. Meanwhile, overprovisioning levels reached 40% for CPU and 57% for memory, with 99.94% of clusters found to have excessively allocated CPU resources.
Cast AI leverages its AI-driven automation engine tailored for Kubernetes environments to dynamically optimize server count, instance types, and application resources, reducing cloud costs.
While other solutions mainly focus on resource monitoring or cost reporting, Cast AI supports practical cost reduction by minimizing human intervention through AI-based automation,real-time integrated management of Kubernetes resources, and reduction of overprovisioning.
