
Youngwoo DSP, a display inspection equipment specialist, announced on the 2nd that it had signed a contract with Samsung Display to supply display inspection equipment worth approximately 9.6 billion won. This contract brings the company's cumulative order backlog to 58.5 billion won. This is seen as a sign of future performance improvement and a shift towards business growth.
Youngwoo DSP is continuously expanding its order book by strengthening partnerships with key clients. It signed contracts worth 27.8 billion won in the first half of this year and 17.9 billion won in the second half.
Meanwhile, the company is diversifying its business beyond the display sector into future new industries such as semiconductors and secondary battery inspection equipment, and is focusing on securing mid- to long-term growth engines based on its technological prowess.
A representative of Youngwoo DSP said, “Based on a series of large-scale orders, the company’s turnaround is in full swing,” and “Based on our technological competitiveness and customer trust, we expect stable orders to continue in the second half of the year.”
