Convergence security specialist Kuntec (CEO Bang Hyuk-jun) announced on the 3rd that it has signed a strategic partnership with SPLX, a global company in the field of AI agent security.
SPLX has recently achieved rapid growth, achieving 160% quarter-over-quarter growth, securing Fortune 500 companies as new customers, and achieving a 100% proof-of-concept (PoC) success rate. The company has also raised $7 million in seed funding and is attracting attention for its automated attack scenarios and high-speed scanning technology specialized for AI agent security.
SPLX provides AI asset visualization, automated red teaming (simulated attacks), AI vulnerability scanning, runtime threat blocking, governance and compliance in a single platform, and recently launched 'Runtime Security (Real-Time Guardrails)' product that emphasizes security throughout the entire process from AI development to deployment and operation.
Through this collaboration, Kuntek plans to add SPLX's AI runtime protection solution and automated red team solution to its portfolio, combining its proprietary supply chain security technology, "AEZIZ," with AI vulnerability scanning and asset visibility capabilities. Furthermore, Kuntek will provide a service that proactively detects and blocks security risks, such as prompt injection, data leakage, and LLM backdoors, that may occur throughout the entire AI agent-based software lifecycle.
Building on this partnership, Kuntec plans to expand its business, focusing on industries where AI is crucially utilized, such as finance, defense, smart mobility, smart factories, and national infrastructure. Specifically, it will provide an integrated security framework encompassing financial services, in-vehicle AI assistants, industrial robot agents, and conversational and multimodal AI in healthcare and the public sector.
