Meisa Signs Business Agreement with HDC Hyundai Industrial Development

Meissa (CEOs Choi Seok-won and Kim Dong-young), a spatial information platform company, announced on the 4th that it signed an MOU with HDC Hyundai Development Company for company-wide adoption and technical cooperation of its drone-based digital twin solution. Through this agreement, HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to introduce Meissa's drone- and satellite-based platform at its headquarters and nationwide construction sites, further enhancing process management, safety, and quality monitoring through digital transformation.

HDC Hyundai Development Company views smart construction as a key future competitive edge and has been strengthening its collaboration system based on precise spatial information throughout the entire design and construction process. The company-wide introduction of the Meisa platform embodies this strategy and is expected to be utilized in various areas, including tracking key processes such as earthwork and framing, sharing real-time status data, and automating collaboration between headquarters and field sites.

Meisa has already been implementing digital twin solutions with major domestic construction companies, including DL E&C, Woomi Construction, and Lotte Engineering & Construction. This contract with HDC Hyundai Development Company is being evaluated as a signal that drone solutions are expanding beyond simple surveying and becoming an industry standard as a collaboration tool.

“Construction companies are shifting their perspectives on drone solutions from ‘precision surveying’ to ‘collaboration tools for the entire organization,’” said Meisa Ha Chang-seong, head of the business team. “Through our partnership with HDC Hyundai Industrial Development, we will accelerate digital innovation in the construction industry and support the creation of smart construction outcomes in more construction sites.”
