Fintech startup AtOnes Co., Ltd. announced on the 4th that it has attracted seed investment from Seoul National University Technology Holdings based on ‘CandyPay.’
"Candy Pay" is a service developed to allow consumers to use multiple credit and check cards simultaneously for a single transaction. Its unique feature is that it allows consumers to simultaneously meet each card's performance requirements and take advantage of its benefits. It is attracting attention for addressing consumer inconveniences caused by complex card usage structures and for supporting optimal utilization of card company-specific benefits.
Through this investment, AtOnce plans to advance its AI-based simultaneous payment technology and strengthen its service capabilities for entry into the global market.
Starting with winning the Excellence Award at the 2022 Financial Services Commission Fintech Idea Contest, in 2024, it was selected as the only Top 10 company in the fintech field in the 'Google Window Program 6th' jointly hosted by the Korea Institute of Startups and Entrepreneurship Development and Google, and was also named to the 'K-GLOBAL SNU Unicorn 3rd' hosted by Seoul National University Technology Holdings, proving its technological prowess and marketability.
Jeong Jae-cheol, CEO of AtOnce, stated, “The effectiveness of our service has been proven based on positive feedback from users and investment institutions, and we will use this investment as an opportunity to leap forward as a competitive service in the global fintech market.”
Seoul National University Technology Holdings Managing Director Cha In-hwan said, “AtOnce’s multi-card simultaneous payment technology is receiving a lot of attention both domestically and internationally, and we plan to actively support its market entry and growth through strategic nurturing from the early stages.”
