The Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation held the "Gyeongnam AX Committee Launch Ceremony."

The Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Noh Chung-sik) announced that it held the "Gyeongnam AX Committee Inauguration Ceremony" on the second floor of the center at 3:30 PM on September 4th. The inauguration ceremony was held to support startups' adoption of AI and AX technologies and discover new AX startups, thereby simultaneously enhancing business competitiveness and fostering the development of future regional industries.

The Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center will serve as a regional hub for the AX transformation by utilizing a network of regional creative economy innovation centers in 19 cities and provinces across the country, and, with the launch of this committee, has presented a vision to leap forward as a 'regional base for the Global AX Hub Korea' by 2030.

On this day, nine experts in the AI and AX fields in Gyeongnam, including ICT, academia, research, and related organizations, participated as committee members to discuss strategies for revitalizing the Gyeongnam AX ecosystem and in-depth discussions on the direction of startups' AX technology transition and ways to establish a permanent cooperation system by specialized field.

Additionally, the committee members were awarded letters of appointment, and the plan is to strengthen inter-agency cooperation through regular meetings in the future, and to continue to develop detailed strategies for fostering the AX ecosystem from a mid- to long-term perspective and provide consulting services in specialized fields.

Noh Chung-sik, CEO of the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, “In the era of the AX transformation, we will expand the ecosystem together with a network of experts to ensure that Gyeongnam leads innovation as a center of the manufacturing and robotics industries.” He added, “We will contribute to local startups securing global competitiveness and, furthermore, leading balanced regional development and the national AX transformation.”
