InterX CEO Park Jeong-yoon Receives the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the Industrial AI Expo 2025

INTERX, a company specializing in autonomous manufacturing and manufacturing AI, announced that CEO Park Jeong-yoon received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 'Industrial AI Expo 2025' held on September 3rd. This award is in the individual category for 'Contribution to the Promotion of Industrial Digital Transformation and Utilization of Artificial Intelligence', and is an example of a company representative's field application achievements and technological leadership being officially recognized.

CEO Park's practical experience integrating industrial and software technologies earned him high praise for directly applying R&D-focused technologies to manufacturing sites and achieving tangible results. Drawing on his experience as an automotive production technology researcher, PLM system development leader, and technology management consultant, he has consistently achieved notable results in the autonomous manufacturing field since founding InterX in 2020.

InterX has built over 150 AI autonomous manufacturing solutions in Korea to date, and has numerous examples of how its proprietary self-learning AI technology has substantially improved productivity and quality indicators for its clients. For example, it achieved a 50% increase in productivity for an electric vehicle parts manufacturer, and a PCB manufacturer achieved 99.95% inspection accuracy. This demonstrates that InterX's intelligent autonomous factory model, based on the "Software Defined Factory (SDF)," is being implemented in the field.

CEO Park's award signifies the continued recognition of InterX's technological prowess and leadership by the government. Following the 2023 Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award (Corporate Category) and the 2024 Minister of Science and ICT Award, this latest individual award solidifies InterX's position as a leading AI company aligned with the national digital manufacturing transformation policy.

Meanwhile, InterX has recorded a cumulative investment of 27 billion won and has been selected for a number of major technology startup support programs, including the Ministry of Science and ICT's 'Future Unicorn' and 'Innovation Premier 1000', the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Baby Unicorn', and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's 'Innovation Icon'.

In the global market, InterX is also actively expanding into North America, including Europe, Japan, and Vietnam, based on partnerships with Germany's Fraunhofer Institute, NVIDIA, Sony, and Siemens.

An InterX representative said, “This award is the result of not only CEO Park Jeong-yoon’s personal leadership, but also the work of InterX members and partners,” adding, “We will continue to lead the digital transformation of the domestic and international manufacturing industries through software-centric manufacturing (SDX) innovation.”
