Global housing rental platform Encostay (operator: Enco Withers Co., Ltd.) announced on August 29, 2025 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hire Diversity Co., Ltd., a specialized organization for foreigner settlement support, to provide housing and administrative services for foreign students.
This agreement aims to improve the housing stability and convenience of international students entering Korea, and the two companies have expanded their previously unofficial cooperation into a formal partnership.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will share responsibility for providing core services necessary for international students' settlement, including accommodation matching and administrative procedures. Encostay will support accommodation matching and rental contract procedures through its online platform, while HireDiversity will handle related administrative services, including issuing alien registration cards.
In particular, the two sides plan to establish a joint response system to more quickly and efficiently process the issuance of essential documents, such as proof of residence, required during the initial settlement process for international students.
Through this agreement, Encowithers aims to advance its integrated settlement support model for foreigners and, in collaboration with HireDiversity, create long-term synergy by fostering a legal rental ecosystem and strengthening inter-agency collaboration.
Oh Jeong-hoon, CEO of Encowithus, said, “This agreement goes beyond simple platform connection and establishes a foundation for integrated support of international students’ housing and administrative procedures.” He added, “By combining the expertise and data-based services of both companies, we will create an environment where international students can settle down more safely and stably.”
