Gint signs an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Hankyung National University.

Gint (CEO Yong-Hyeon Kim) announced on the 9th that it signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Hankyung National University (hereinafter Hankyung University) for agricultural technology research and development and academic exchange.

The two organizations plan to jointly pursue various activities to foster agricultural talent and develop smart agricultural technologies. Participants in "Changnong Farm," a startup support program run by Hankyung National University, will be provided with training and practical experience in new agricultural technologies, including Gint's autonomous agricultural machinery solution, "Fluva Auto." They will also expand the scope of their collaboration by conducting joint research projects related to autonomous driving with the Department of Mobility.

Gint aims to revolutionize agriculture by incorporating cutting-edge digital technologies such as autonomous driving, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI). Its flagship product, "Fluva Auto," allows for the addition of autonomous steering capabilities to older tractors with a simple component installation. Within a year of its launch, it was exported to Japan and Indonesia.

Additionally, Gint is developing a smart agriculture product line that can digitize the entire agricultural process, from crop selection to cultivation and harvesting. Key products include the "Fluva SS" orchard pest control robot and the "Fluva Farm AI" AI-based crop management solution, both of which are currently in the verification phase.

Kim Yong-hyun, CEO of Gint, said, “To solve Korea’s food security problem, we need to improve awareness of agriculture and attract talented individuals,” and added, “Through our collaboration with Hankyung University, we will contribute to the development of cutting-edge agricultural technologies and the cultivation of talented individuals.”
