IELCONUS Signs Investment Agreement with Jeju Island

ILKNUS (CEO Ji-Seok Jeong), a physical AI company based on AIoT sensing, announced on the 11th that it signed an investment agreement with the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province at the Jeju Provincial Government Office. Through this agreement, ILKNUS will secure a global base to promote the commercialization of physical AI using AIoT-based sensing infrastructure.

ILCONUS is a company that provides innovative, space-customized solutions across various industries using wireless sensor-based AI Internet of Things (AIoT) technology. The company's AI-enhanced IoT sensors maintain high uptime and accuracy even in large-scale, high-traffic environments. Their reliability and performance have been proven in public transportation facilities such as Incheon, Gimpo, and Jeju airports, highway rest areas, and KTX and SRT stations.

Through this agreement, ILCONUS will relocate its headquarters, currently located in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, to Jeju Island within the year. This move aims to strengthen local production and R&D infrastructure, expand employment and industry-academia collaboration, and simultaneously achieve the dual goals of corporate growth and contributing to the local economy. Furthermore, this investment is linked to Jeju Island's "Listed Company Promotion Support Project," providing support for all costs necessary for listing preparations. This is expected to bolster ILCONUS's pursuit of a KONEX listing.

“We have secured unrivaled competitiveness in the field of solutions for energy conservation and improved user convenience,” said IELKNUS CEO Jijeong Seok. “With Jeju Island’s groundbreaking support and innovative ecosystem, we will continue to challenge the global physical AI market based on AIoT technology.”

Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon said, “We welcome the decision of a company with high technological prowess and growth potential to join Jeju,” and added, “The province plans to focus on nurturing IELCONUS so that it can grow into a strong company representing Jeju.”
