Innogrid (CEO Myungjin Kim) , a cloud computing and digital transformation (DT) specialist, announced that it participated in the <ltOpen Cloud Platform Summit 2025> held at Post Tower in Myeongdong, Seoul on Friday, September 12.
This summit, themed "AI Cloud Platform Strategy for the AX Transformation," was designed to explore the role and strategies of cloud platforms as an essential foundation for the stable growth of the rapidly expanding AI ecosystem. Hosted by the Open Cloud Platform Alliance (OPA, Chairman Hongjin Kim, hereinafter referred to as OPA), Innogrid participated as OPA's chairman.
The summit consisted of various programs including the OPA 2.0 vision declaration ceremony, keynote speeches, the OPA Awards ceremony, afternoon session presentations, and booth stamp events, and was held successfully with approximately 500 people from the National Assembly, government, public institutions, industry, and academia in attendance.
On this day, Innogrid CEO Myungjin Kim personally gave a presentation on the topic of “The Role of Next-Generation K-PaaS: Focusing on Building an AI Semiconductor Integrated Platform.” CEO Kim stated, “AI is rapidly expanding by combining with various technologies, and an open cloud platform (K-PaaS) is necessary as its foundation.” He presented the importance of the role of the domestic cloud platform (K-PaaS) in building the next-generation AI platform and the next-generation infrastructure strategy that will support the expansion of AI services through the convergence of AI semiconductors, micro data centers, and clouds.
Additionally, the "OPA Awards" ceremony was held mid-summit. This ceremony was designed to expand the AI cloud ecosystem by selecting companies that have contributed to the vitalization of the domestic open platform-based interoperable cloud ecosystem and member companies that have pioneered the use of K-PaaS-based AI technology. Innogrid won the "AI Tech Advanced" category in recognition of its innovation potential for a next-generation AI/cloud convergence platform by integrating AI semiconductors, multicloud, and microservices during the K-PaaS-based cloud construction process.
Kim Myeong-jin, CEO of Innogrid, said, “This award is an official recognition of Innogrid’s efforts to contribute to the development of the domestic open cloud ecosystem and AI innovation,” and added, “We will continue to actively take the lead in expanding the AI cloud ecosystem that encompasses industry and the public sector based on K-PaaS.”
