ZenAxis Completes Seed Investment in Divine Technology

Zenaxis (CEO Son Mi-kyung) announced on the 15th that it has completed seed investment in Divine Technology (CEO Lee Yong-chae), which develops performance verification solutions for medical devices, autonomous driving systems, and SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) applications using AI and simulation technologies.

This investment is interpreted as a high evaluation of Divine Technology's technological prowess and its growth potential to contribute to improving safety and efficiency in the medical and mobility industries.

Divine Technology supports performance testing of medical device valves and stents based on its AI and simulation platform. It also utilizes the Unreal Engine to provide a virtual simulation environment for verifying the safety of autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). It is also developing an AUTOSAR-based SDV application test platform.

In the medical field, we are developing software to predict complications of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), a particularly high-risk procedure, and supporting its use by medical device manufacturers and hospitals. In the mobility field, we are securing the potential for expansion into various industries such as autonomous driving, ADAS, SDV applications, as well as unmanned vehicles for defense, robots, and drones.

Market growth prospects are also positive. The global healthcare simulation market is expected to grow from approximately $3 billion in 2024 to approximately $7.23 billion in 2030, while the automotive simulation software market is projected to expand from $5.3 billion to $13.9 billion over the same period. These trends, coupled with increasing demand for Computational Modeling & Simulation (CM&S)-based software, support Divine Technology's market expansion potential.

Divine Technology has been recognized for its technological prowess through participation in major national research projects, including the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Medical Twin Technology Development Project and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's Autonomous Driving Technology Development Innovation Project. The company has also registered one patent and filed three. Furthermore, it was selected as one of the "Super Gap Startups 1000+" and is strengthening its technological credibility through partnerships with leading domestic and international companies, including Ansys, rFpro, and Taewoong Medical.

Zenaxis stated, “Divine Technology possesses the capability to replace traditional experiment-based methods with AI and simulation-based verification methods in two key industries: healthcare and mobility,” and added, “We will continue to support them so that they can grow into a competitive company in the global CM&S market.”
