The Gyeonggi Innovation Center held a launch ceremony for the "2025 Startup Growth Technology Development Stepping Stone Global R&D Project."

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the “Gyeonggi Innovation Center”) announced that on September 12, it held the “2025 Startup Growth Technology Development Stepping Stone Global R&D Project Launch Ceremony” at the Pangyo Startup Zone, along with a supporting program to strengthen the capabilities of selected companies.

This launch ceremony was held for the 40 startups selected for the 2025 Stepping Stone Global R&D Project. In addition to the official launch ceremony, which introduced the business direction and support system, a multi-layered program was also implemented to support the startups' practical growth, including investment attraction strategy seminars and networking with experts in each field.

The event consisted of a business launch ceremony, an introduction of the operating organization, a seminar on investment attraction strategies, and networking sessions with experts from various fields. In particular, the seminar, featuring venture capital experts, shared fundraising strategies targeting global markets and actual investment cases.

In-depth networking sessions, held in conjunction with this initiative, were designed to allow companies to meet directly with individual experts and receive practical advice. Networking topics ranged from attracting investment, collaborating with large corporations, expanding globally, securing intellectual property rights, and business strategy. These networking sessions fostered customized collaborations and partnerships.

An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center stated, “This launching ceremony is not just a simple business orientation, but a program designed to help with practical, field-centered growth,” adding, “We will continue to provide support so that startups can grow by connecting with various industry players.”
