Pungjin's 'Eagle Eye' Receives Grade 1 GS Certification

Defense specialized AI solution company Funjin (CEO Deukhwa Kim) announced on the 16th that its synthetic data generation platform 'EagleEye' passed the software quality test of the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) of Korea and received GS (Good Software) certification level 1.

GS certification is a nationally recognized system that comprehensively evaluates software's functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, and security based on international standards (ISO/IEC 25023). Grade 1 represents the highest level of quality and serves as an objective indicator of trust when entering public procurement and private markets.

Funjin's "EagleEye" is a platform that automatically generates and manages high-quality synthetic data using a variety of methods, including text prompts, image conversion, and inpainting. It is recognized as a key infrastructure contributing to improved object recognition accuracy and reliability, as it can mass-produce data for AI model training even in specialized environments where data acquisition is difficult.

This platform received a military-suitable designation in May and was delivered to the Army Artificial Intelligence Center. It was used to complement data collection limitations in actual battlefield environments. This achievement garnered attention as a practical contribution to improving AI-based battlefield recognition performance.

With this GS certification, EagleEye has been officially proven to be a universal platform that can be utilized in various industrial fields requiring object recognition technology, such as surveillance, security, manufacturing, and smart cities, beyond the military.

“GS certification level 1 means that Eagle Eye’s technological prowess and quality stability have been objectively verified,” said Kim Deuk-hwa, CEO of Pungjin. “We plan to continue to focus on increasing the reliability and scalability of AI learning data across the public and private sectors, including national defense.”
