
Park Mi-kyung, CEO of POSCO , a domestic electronic document and electronic contract specialist, received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award in the job creation category of the 2025 Government Award for Job Creation.
This award recognizes CEO Park Mi-kyung's contributions to the development of the domestic electronic document technology and software industry, as well as her leadership in creating sustainable, quality jobs, since POSCO's founding in 1995. In particular, she was highly recognized for her contributions to job creation and employment stability in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including the creation and maintenance of quality jobs through continuous employment expansion, improved work environments, and the implementation of job competency enhancement programs.
As a female CEO, CEO Park Mi-kyung is setting an example by fostering a family-friendly corporate culture and leveraging the female workforce. She is also committed to realizing social value by introducing and utilizing generational-balanced employment systems that encompass both young and middle-aged workers.
