AI healthcare company VivaLabs announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sonbit Rehabilitation Center in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to develop a 'rehabilitation-return continuous care program.'
This agreement aims to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and return to daily life after hospital treatment and to seamlessly support patients' recovery. Both organizations plan to build a continuum of care based on their mutual expertise.
Sonbit Rehabilitation Center offers rehabilitation exercise programs tailored to individual living environments and voucher-based services, while VivaLabs supports personalized exercise prescriptions and long-term health management through AI-based data analysis. Through this collaboration, the two organizations aim to develop practical solutions that support the safe rehabilitation and return to daily life for seniors.
“By combining the capabilities of both organizations, we will present a new care model that safely connects patients to their daily lives after rehabilitation,” said Ha-young Lim, CEO of VivaLabs. “We will develop this model into a standard case that can be expanded to the community.”
Kim Hae-in, director of the Sonbit Rehabilitation Center, said, “This has become an opportunity to provide a comprehensive program that goes beyond rehabilitation and includes returning to daily life,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure the safety and long-term health of the patients.”
