Team Cookie Vice President Lim Ki-tae selected as one of Asia's top 40 communication leaders.

Team Cookie, a tech startup PR firm, announced on the 17th that its co-founder and Vice President, Lim Ki-tae, was named one of the '40 Asian Communication Leaders (The Campaign Asia 40 under 40)' selected by the global communications magazine Campaign.

The "Asia Communications Leaders 40" award, now in its 13th year, recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40 in the Asia-Pacific region who demonstrate innovation and leadership among marketing, creative, communications strategists, and related executives. This year, only two Koreans, including Vice President Lim, are recognized.

After graduating from Kyung Hee University's Department of Media and Communication, Lim Ki-tae began his career in the PR Strategy Department of Namyang Dairy Products and served as the Brand Manager for Samyang Roundsquare's "Buldak." He co-founded Team Cookie in 2022 and oversees external communications for major domestic and international tech startups. He has also served as Vice President of the International Association for the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (IAAE) since 2025 and as an executive of the Korean Association of Public Relations Professionals (KAPR), an affiliate of the Korea Public Relations Association.

The campaign praised Vice President Lim, saying, “He led PR for over 30 major domestic and international tech startups, contributing to strengthening investment attraction (IR), B2B business, and recruitment branding.” The campaign also praised him, saying, “Not only has Team Cookie established itself as one of Asia’s leading integrated PR, branding, and market entry partners, but he has also exerted influence on shaping the discourse on AI ethics and reflecting it in the basic AI law by hosting the AI Safety Compass conference.”

Vice President Lim Ki-tae said, "It's an honor to receive this award alongside the best experts in the Asia-Pacific region. It's the result of working with colleagues and partners under the belief that technology advances the world." He added, "Our goal is to grow beyond Korea and become a global cross-border connector, aligned with our mission to elevate the value of innovative companies through stories."
