Star Asset Co., Ltd. (CEO Hee-seong Lee) announced on the 17th that it has been selected as the official implementing agency for the '2025 Export Voucher Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The Export Voucher Program is a government-funded program designed to support the overseas expansion of promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Companies then use the vouchers to select the services they desire. To be selected as an implementing agency, organizations must demonstrate proven track record and expertise in their respective fields and undergo a rigorous government screening process.
Star Asset will be responsible for the "Exhibition/Event/Overseas Sales Support" sector for this project, and plans to provide differentiated global expansion services based on its accumulated M&A and investment attraction capabilities focused on the F&B industry.
According to the company, Star Asset managed the KRW 70 billion M&A of the franchise brand "Norangtongdak," advised on the growth strategy of "Mega Coffee," and has supported numerous F&B companies in connecting with government-funded projects and developing and executing overseas expansion strategies. The firm has demonstrated a particular strength in helping startups overcome challenges encountered in the early stages of growth, and this track record and expertise were reflected in its selection as the contractor for this project.
Star Asset plans to provide support for overseas trade fair participation through its "Taste Go Global" program, a market entry program based on its local network through the establishment of a Vietnamese subsidiary, and strategic consulting on global partnerships linked to M&A and investment attraction through its export voucher program. Beyond simple exhibition participation, Star Asset aims to promote local integration and long-term growth for participating companies by dispatching local experts and providing ongoing support.
Lee Hee-seong, CEO of Star Asset, said, “This selection as a performing organization is significant in that it secures a foundation for strategically supporting the global expansion of F&B companies.” He added, “We will continue to create tangible results based on our accumulated expertise and infrastructure to help K-food brands become competitive in the global market in the future.”
