AWS Premier Partner SmileShark (CEO Jin-hwan Jang) announced that it has supported the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud and AI technologies by Blings (CEO Jae-yu Cho), a startup providing an AI-based custom chatbot development platform. Building on this technical support from SmileShark, Blings plans to accelerate its global expansion.
Blings operates "I'm," an AI chatbot automation platform that allows individuals and corporate customers to create their own "personalized Chat GPT" with a simple click. The platform supports the creation of a variety of customized chatbots, from professional service promotions for hospitals, law firms, and tax accountants to entertainment and business cards. Blings boldly pivoted from its initial AX business to a global B2C service, securing KRW 700 million in investment from investors including Hyundai Investment Partners, demonstrating its growth potential.
SmileShark supported the system development by optimizing Blings' core technologies—large-scale data processing and Large Language Model (LLM)-based RAG (Augmented Search Generative) modules—for the AWS cloud environment. This enabled Blings to complete its beta service in just three months, attracting hundreds of customers within a month without any additional marketing, and ultimately creating over 300 chatbots.
Blings is preparing for a full-scale overseas expansion by launching its English and Japanese global service in October, expanding to AWS global regions in Virginia, USA, and Singapore, and introducing a global payment system.
