Brils Signs Business Agreement with Mototech

Robotics company Brils (CEO Jeon Jin) announced on the 18th that it has signed a joint partnership agreement with robot automation system specialist Mototech.

The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, the 17th, at Brils' Songdo headquarters in Incheon, with the attendance of both companies' CEOs and key executives. Through this collaboration, the two companies will combine their robotics automation technology and remanufacturing capabilities to target the rapidly growing robotics market, particularly in the Yeongnam region, where they plan to jointly expand the robotics automation market in the automotive, shipbuilding, and machinery industries.

We aim to create synergy by combining Brils' robot integrated control technology and SI (System Integration) capabilities with Mototech's know-how in reverse engineering reducers and building robot automation systems.

Through this joint partnership, the two companies agreed to pursue ▲joint development and supply of robot automation systems in various industries such as automobiles, shipbuilding, and machinery ▲expanding domestic and international turnkey robot project orders ▲jointly pioneering the collaborative robot market ▲technology and personnel exchanges. Mototech's experience with major domestic and international clients' projects and its robot multi-axis control technology for parts assembly, transportation, palletizing, welding, and vision are expected to greatly contribute to Brils' solution expansion.

In particular, the two companies will occupy Korea's first "Korea Robot Refurbishment Center," established by the Korea Robot Users Association. Building on the reverse engineering and remanufacturing facilities for reducers, they plan to advance integrated robot teaching technology and 3D simulation-based equipment verification technology. Building on this foundation, they plan to jointly pursue a remanufacturing project to elevate the performance of used robots to new levels. This is expected to expand the recycling of existing products and drive process and cost savings, contributing to securing production continuity and enhancing parts development capabilities.

“Mototech’s extensive experience in building robot automation systems, combined with Brils’ robots and solutions, will provide an opportunity to further enhance our business capabilities,” said Jeon Jin, CEO of Brils. “By combining the technologies and know-how of both companies, we will provide highly complete solutions to our customers.”
