New Paradigm Investment concludes its "2025 NP Synergy Day AI Tech" event.

New Paradigm Investment (Co-CEOs Sangseung Bae and Jehyeon Park) announced on the 18th that it had completed the '2025 NP Synergy Day AI Tech' held at the Next Payments Showroom in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul on September 17th.

New Paradigm Investment operates Synergy Day as a regular program, discovering innovative startups across a variety of industries, including AI, and expanding its collaborative ecosystem with its portfolio companies.

Synergy Day, held for the second time this year, was themed "AI adoption and collaboration are no longer optional, but essential." Six promising AI startups directly invested in by New Paradigm Investment participated, sharing innovative technologies and business ideas and exploring collaboration opportunities with portfolio companies.

The event featured six AI startups, including Next Payments, Dewix, Allbigdot, Edutem, Refundy, and Countdown AI, all invested in by New Paradigm Investment, presenting their services and collaboration plans. The panel Q&A session that followed was moderated by Park Jae-hyun, co-CEO of New Paradigm, who led an in-depth discussion with attendees.

The event program began with a reception, followed by presentations by participating companies (six companies), a panel Q&A, and a networking dinner for attendees. The networking session following the presentations was particularly engaging, with lively discussions on potential business collaborations, generating significant interest from attendees.

Park Jae-hyun, co-CEO of New Paradigm Investment, said, “AI is a key driving force accelerating innovation across all industries and an essential element of corporate competitiveness,” and added, “Through NP Synergy Day, we will continue to create opportunities for our portfolio companies and innovative startups to grow together.”

New Paradigm Investment has invested in approximately 80 startups to date, building a "family corporate synergy network." Through regular support programs, including this year's Synergy Day and the Baby Unicorn program, the firm is strengthening collaboration among its portfolio companies. Going forward, the firm plans to actively support the global advancement of Korean startups by expanding synergy across all ICT sectors, including AI, B2B, SaaS, digital transformation, and digital healthcare.

Meanwhile, New Paradigm Investment is currently recruiting companies for its Baby Unicorn Growth Program, which will begin in the second half of 2025. This program, which selects promising startups within three years of establishment and provides initial investment and scale-up support, is New Paradigm's flagship scale-up project, designed to discover companies poised to become "next-generation unicorns." Recruitment will continue until October 24th.
