Global audio content platform KOKOZI (CEO Jihee Park) announced on September 22nd that it will be holding the 'KOKOZI Listening and Growing Up Report Campaign (hereinafter referred to as the Listening Report Campaign)' for the whole family to enjoy together during the Chuseok holiday. In addition, the company also released the 'KOKOZI Listening Report', a children's growth report based on listening data accumulated over the past three years.
Since launching its first product, "Cocozy House," and character figure, "Atti," in March 2022, Cocozy has rapidly grown in the domestic audio content market, surpassing KRW 10 billion in cumulative sales in just two years. The company has also achieved success in the global market, entering Taiwan in June 2024 and ranking first in its category on major local commerce platforms.
"Kokoji Listening Report" is a growth report for children who grew up listening to Kokoji. It visualizes data-driven insights into how "good listening experiences" impact and contribute to children's development and growth, providing each Kokoji customer with a personalized report.
This campaign provides tens of millions of hours of listening data accumulated over time in the form of a report for parents to easily check, and was designed to allow families to look back on their children's growth together during the Chuseok holiday.
According to the Cocozi Listening Report, children have listened to Cocozi for a total of 19,973,840 hours, equivalent to the time it takes the Earth to circle 830,000 times. Each child listens for an average of 86 minutes per day, which translates to learning 2,472 words, or about 13 storybooks. The most popular genre is nursery rhymes, with a significant increase in listening during wake-up times (around 8:00 AM).
Additionally, this report analyzes children's listening tendencies into six types.
A child who develops his or her imagination every time he or she encounters a new story is a "story collector." A child who fills his or her day with excitement by enjoying music and nursery rhymes is a "melody fairy." A child who grows while having fun learning lifestyle habits and expressing emotions is a "guardian of good living." A child who is curious about everything in the world, from the human body and nature to dinosaurs and space, is a "curious explorer." A child who develops the joy of speaking by immersing himself or herself in learning languages such as Korean and English is a "language wizard." A child who learns wisdom and lessons from classic fairy tales and masterpieces is a "time traveler." Parents can check which type their child falls into through this report and use it as a reference to design future learning and play directions.
Park Ji-hee, CEO of Cocozy, said, “Chuseok is a special time when generations come together and share stories,” and added, “We expect Cocozy audio content to be a great alternative for children to enjoy during the long trip home.” She added, “Through this ‘Listen Campaign,’ Cocozy hopes to record and share children’s ‘listening time’ as data, thereby creating a culture where families can share moments of growth together and connect generations.”
Meanwhile, Cocoji has prepared a Chuseok gift event where parents and children can have a special experience together by giving away a '42-piece full set of Atti worth 1 million won' when sharing 'Cocoji Listening Port' during the Chuseok holiday period.
