HR specialist MJ Flex Co., Ltd. and intelligent robot development company ING Robotics Co., Ltd. announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish Korea's first robot dispatch service model.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to initially introduce various service robots, including autonomous guide robots and serving robots, to actual industrial sites such as broadcasting stations, complex facilities, and parking lots. They will then expand robot dispatch services across the broadcasting, media, logistics, distribution, and service industries. The two companies plan to demonstrate a hybrid smart operation model where robots and humans collaborate, and jointly explore the potential for expansion in related markets.
MJ Flex is preparing to expand its robotics operations, focusing on broadcasting sites. This includes deploying serving robots in broadcasting stations' cafeterias, operating guidance robots, and introducing security patrol robots. Robots are planned for deployment at Lotte Global Logistics' logistics centers in logistics, and at Incheon Airport's Nobel Parking Center in the service sector. The company plans to focus on improving operational efficiency and safety through the deployment of robots in industrial settings.
Key areas of collaboration between the two companies include: joint planning and field testing of a robot-based smart operating model; dispatching specialized operational personnel and developing customized operational manuals; joint marketing and strengthening brand competitiveness; and identifying new business opportunities. The goal is to establish a new operational model where robots and human workers organically collaborate, rather than simply replacing human labor.
ING Robotics will provide autonomous mobile robot (AMR)-based technology and operational manuals, while MJ Flex will be responsible for expanding on-site operations, leveraging its 29 years of HR outsourcing experience and expertise in managing a workforce of over 1,200. MJ Flex's specialized job platforms, "Media Job" and "Designer Job," will also enable matching with specialized talent for each industry, enabling a customized service that integrates robot adoption and human resource management.
The company expects this agreement to be a signal for the development of the domestic robot dispatch market, and anticipates that it will not only improve operational efficiency in industrial sites but also contribute to the creation of new job models where technology and human resources coexist.
