Prain Global (CEO Kim Pyeong-gi) announced on the 24th that it won the Technology: Hardware category at the '2025 SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific', a global PR awards ceremony.
The Sabre Awards are a PR awards ceremony hosted by Provoke Media, a global PR media outlet. Winners are selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of creativity and strategic execution across all aspects of communication, including branding and reputation management. The awards are held globally, encompassing North America, Asia, Europe, Central and South America, and Africa. This year, over 1,200 entries were received from the Asia-Pacific region, resulting in fierce competition.
Prain Global won in the Technology Hardware category, which evaluates communication performance in technology-intensive industries such as semiconductors, gaming, and industrial computing. The winning entry was SK Hynix's global LinkedIn branding project, which aimed to increase interest and understanding of the industry as a whole by communicating complex semiconductor technology in a more accessible and intuitive manner.
This project was recognized for its innovative visual communication strategy, breaking away from the cold, mechanical, blue-toned imagery often prevalent in the semiconductor industry. Inspired by the fundamental role semiconductors play in improving human lives, the company developed graphics that utilize the human body as a graphic element and express SK Hynix's unique data to intuitively convey its specialized technical message.
As a result of these strategic initiatives, SK Hynix's official LinkedIn page recorded an average of over 980,000 monthly content impressions, with engagement rates increasing by 93.3% year-over-year. Recognized for its creativity and execution in implementing the brand message in a flexible and consistent visual language, the company was also selected as a "2025 LinkedIn Creative Best Practice." The project also won the Grand Prize in the "Reputation Management" category at the 2024 Korea PR Awards, contributing to enhancing the brand's reputation in the global market.
Prain Global Director Han Yoon-jin said, “The technology-based hardware field is a highly competitive area in the global market, so we are very honored to have received such a meaningful evaluation in this field.” He added, “This project, which aimed to build brand trust by converting difficult technologies and products into easy, intuitive, and human-centered language, is an example of a new way for domestic brands to communicate effectively in the global market.”
