Team Elysium, a digital healthcare company (CEO Wonjin Kim and Eunsik Park), announced that its body shape analysis solution, 'iBalance®', has been introduced to all branches of Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital.
"iBalance" is a medical device approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It utilizes 3D camera-based automatic measurement technology to provide a variety of body analysis data, including body alignment, left-right imbalances, and posterior cervical muscle patterns. Its unique feature is its ability to measure in a short period of time, without requiring the patient to change clothing or attach markers.
This solution has an intuitive user interface (UI) that takes into account the clinical environment and processes of Korean medicine medical institutions, and is designed so that medical staff can use it without separate training.
With the recent implementation of the 'Guidelines for the Evaluation of Muscle Pattern Measurement Test' for traffic accident patients, the utilization of body shape analysis based on related data is increasing. The introduction of 'Eye Balance' this time is expected to be utilized to quantify treatment information and assist in diagnosis at Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital.
Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital expects that by introducing this solution, it will be able to more objectively understand the patient's physical condition and improve the efficiency and consistency of treatment by supplementing the existing treatment method centered on questioning and palpation with quantitative data.
Kim Won-jin, CEO of Team Elysium, said, “This introduction is a case that confirms that iBalance is a body shape analysis solution that can be used in actual clinical settings,” and added, “We plan to continue to develop digital healthcare technology tailored to the characteristics of Korean medicine medical institutions and apply it on site in the future.”
