Pungjin Signs Business Agreement with the National Police Agency

Fundin (CEO Kim Deuk-hwa) , a vertical AI company specializing in the defense sector, announced on the 25th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Police Agency on the 24th to innovate future security using artificial intelligence (AI) and cutting-edge technologies.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to establish a cooperative system for joint research and demonstration of cutting-edge scientific security technologies, including ▲AI and science and technology-based policy consulting ▲related seminars and information exchange ▲cooperation in promoting major AI events.

The National Police Agency is prioritizing cooperation in areas such as Pungjin's wireless signal detection technology, "KWM-Ocelot," and special terminal technology that supports uninterrupted communication, specifically to strengthen on-site response capabilities. This technology is expected to enable more precise responses by ensuring real-time information collection and communication stability at disaster and crime response sites.

Additionally, Pungjin's "KWM (Kill-Web Matching)" technology, an AI-based staff system that supports commanders' decision-making, is attracting attention as a core technology for future command centers and security response systems. The two sides plan to continue detailed discussions on the potential application of this technology to the security sector.

Under this agreement, Pungjin will participate in the "Science and Security AI Exhibition" held during the "Police Day" event in October, where it will present a video demonstrating the use of its AI-based command and decision support system. Furthermore, the company plans to participate in the "2025 International Security Industry Expo," taking place from October 22nd, to showcase AI-based security solutions based on defense technology.

“It is very meaningful that we are able to expand our defense AI technology into the public security field through cooperation with the National Police Agency,” said Kim Deuk-hwa, CEO of Pungjin. “We will continue to strive to develop practical AI public security solutions that the public can feel.”

“Our collaboration with Fundin is an opportunity to advance our field-focused, cutting-edge security technology,” said Lee Dong-hwan, head of the National Police Agency’s Future Security Policy Division. “We will contribute to effectively protecting the safety of the public based on AI technology.”
