Design platform company MiriD Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Chang-seok) announced that its visual communication platform 'Miricanvas' has surpassed 1 million cumulative subscribers for its overseas service.

Miricanvas is a design platform that supports the creation of various types of content, including presentations, posters, card news, and detailed pages. Since its launch in July 2019, it has grown into the largest design platform in Korea, with 16 million cumulative domestic subscribers and over 500,000 templates as of December 2024.

Miricanvas, which began expanding overseas in 2024, surpassed 1.2 million cumulative subscribers as of September 2025, just one year and nine months after its launch. Growth is particularly strong in English-speaking countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

A user-centric differentiation strategy was instrumental in this success. By offering a distinctive design style and a variety of job-specific templates, along with high-quality AI features like AI presentations and AI image creation and editing, as free credits, the company successfully expanded its user base.

In Japan, the app has also secured approximately 240,000 subscribers, surpassing a cumulative subscriber count of 200,000. The AI presentation feature has been well-received by users, leading to spontaneous viral spread.

Miricanvas plans to accelerate localization by quickly reflecting the needs of local loyal customers in its products.

Miridi CEO Kang Chang-seok said, “Thanks to our differentiated content, AI capabilities, and customer-centric product policies, we were able to record significant traffic in overseas markets, including the US and UK, and Japan.” He added, “Through continuous functional advancements, we will become a new alternative in the global design communication market.”

Meanwhile, MiriDi Co., Ltd., which operates MiriCanvas, has been building a digital-based design ecosystem since launching "Bizhouse," an online design and print commerce platform for small business owners and the self-employed, in 2012. As of 2024, the company achieved sales of KRW 78 billion and operating profit of KRW 4.7 billion, achieving profitability for two consecutive years.
