Edtech company True Value announced on September 26 that it had won the grand prize (Minister of Education Award) in the Educational Environment Construction and Administrative Management Innovation category at the '2025 K-Edutech Contest' hosted by the Ministry of Education for its learning management system (LMS) 'My Mission Studio (MMS)'.
The 'K-EduTech Contest' is an event hosted by the Ministry of Education to discover excellent technologies and services applicable to future public education. Its purpose is to promote digital transformation in the education sector and spread effective edutech solutions.
TrueValue's award-winning MMS is a digitally-based platform for recording and managing school activities. Its unique approach, beyond simple administrative functions, is recognized as an LMS focused on student practice and interaction. It received high marks in a comprehensive evaluation, including applicability in educational settings, technological stability, publicness, and ethics.
Notably, the event also featured real-world testimonials from current teachers using MMS. One elementary school teacher commented, "Since AI analyzes student activity data, it provides practical assistance in creating student records. Unlike existing automated student record services, it allows for student-centered, qualitative analysis."
In addition to MMS, TrueValue operates a variety of digital education services, including "Dream Appeal," an online career exploration platform, and "Ever Mentor," a learning support service based on matching teachers and mentors. Among these, Dream Appeal has surpassed 60,000 cumulative users in just three years since its launch and is being used as a career education program in over 800 schools.
Chung Ju-young, CEO of True Value, said, “MMS is an attempt to transform the educational environment by moving away from the teacher-centered educational structure and focusing on student autonomy and practice,” and added, “We will continue to accelerate the digital transformation of public education through technology-based educational innovation.”
