Medical artificial intelligence (AI) platform company MyHub (CEO Yang Hyeok) and digital healthcare platform company UbiCare (CEO Kim Jin-tae) announced on the 29th that they have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to expand smart medical services.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to link and expand MyHub's medical AI platform 'maiLink' to UbiCare's nationwide network of medical institutions and establish an efficient medical image management and diagnosis support system based on electronic medical records (EMR) and medical image archiving and communication systems (PACS, DICOM linkage).
"MyLink" is an integrated AI solution that analyzes medical images and automatically generates diagnostic reports. It is currently used by approximately 550 medical institutions in Korea. Under the agreement, UbiCare will support the adoption of MyLink solutions and promote technological integration through nationwide dealerships and platform channels, focusing on its EMR solution for hospitals and clinics, "Yisarang."
Based on this, MyHub will proceed with supply and maintenance contracts and provide various additional services such as image transmission and reception, transmission of interpretation reports, and GSPS (Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State) linkage to enhance the image diagnosis and reporting environment of medical institutions.
MyHub CEO Yang Hyeok said, “By combining MyLink, an AI platform based on medical images, with the customer infrastructure of UbiCare, which has the largest EMR market share, we will be able to contribute to the spread of a smart medical environment.” He added, “We will simultaneously improve treatment efficiency and the workload of medical staff through technology that meets the needs of the medical field.”
UbiCare CEO Kim Jin-tae said, “UbiCare is focusing on AI Transformation (AX) as its core strategy and is continuously developing innovative medical IT services based on AI,” and explained, “This agreement is part of our collaboration to provide real value and convenience to medical institutions.”
