Unity concludes 'Uday Seoul: Industry'

Unity, a global real-time 3D content development platform, announced that it has completed the 'U/DAY Seoul: Industry' event held at the Korea Science and Technology Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on September 26th.

This event, attended by approximately 350 professionals from industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and automotive, was designed to share Unity-based digital twin technology and practical application cases. Pre-registration exceeded 600, closing early. Even after the event concluded, over 200 people signed up to watch the online video, demonstrating high interest.

A "hands-on demo zone" was set up on-site, offering hands-on experience with Unity-based technologies. Key exhibits included Metanet Digital's "Metafactory" and Moray's autonomous vehicle test simulation.

“Metafactory is a manufacturing operation platform that connects manufacturing data in real time and integrates AI and 3D technologies,” said Kim Nam-il, director of Metanet Digital. “We were able to receive practical feedback through interactions with stakeholders from various industries.”

“The high-precision simulation demo, which reflected actual road environments such as Sangam and Gangnam, attracted the attention of the field,” said Moray Lee Won-sang, manager. “It was an opportunity to once again confirm the technological applicability of Unity.”

Expert sessions shared industry-specific digital twin application cases and technical insights. In particular, practical examples such as SK AX's "HBM-specific Stack 3D Map PoC," BMW's 3D asset management case, and Obayashi's collaborative workflow implementation attracted significant attention from attendees.

“This event was an opportunity to see what value Unity’s real-time 3D technology can create across industries,” said Song Min-seok, CEO of Unity Korea. “We will continue to provide specialized solutions for various industries and expand our collaborative ecosystem.”
