Ice Cream Edu Participates in Smart Life Week 2025

Ice Cream Edu (CEO Ki-Seok Park), a leading edutech company, participated in 'Smart Life Week 2025' held at COEX in Seoul from September 30 to October 2 and introduced AI-based learning innovation solutions 'Ice Cream Home Run' and 'School Run'.

Smart Life Week is a smart city and AI convergence exhibition, with participation from over 200 cities, 300 companies, and over 60,000 attendees from around the world. It is recognized as an international event where global companies like IBM and Alibaba, along with leading research institutions like MIT and Cambridge, share the latest technologies and innovative practices.

Ice Cream Edu, a company representing the Seoul Metropolitan Government's vision for a "Smart Leading City" in the education sector, participated in this exhibition and introduced the AI learning ecosystem by operating a showroom that recreated homes and schools in the "Future Classroom with AI Tutor" zone.

In the home area, the platform for learning all subjects in elementary and middle school, "Home Run," was used to demonstrate that students can utilize the same learning content at home in conjunction with school classes, and that personalized learning and self-directed learning are possible through AI learning analysis.

"School Run," specifically designed for schools, is a 100% curriculum-linked learning platform. It provides web-based, curriculum-focused content necessary for school classes and supports preview, review, and assessment activities. This allows students to continue their personalized learning, while teachers can provide feedback based on learning data and enhance class efficiency.

Both solutions are recognized for their compatibility with Seoul's smart education policy as models for bridging the educational gap and sustainable education.

Byun Su-hong, director of the Public Partnership Business Division at Ice Cream Edu, said, “We are continuing to strengthen students’ self-directed learning capabilities and support teachers’ class operations through learning services that encompass home and school.” He added, “In particular, the 4E (Everybody, Everywhere, Endless Edu-Tech) vision promoted by the Public Partnership Business Division aims to create a sustainable learning environment without educational gaps, and is in line with the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s smart education vision.”

Meanwhile, Ice Cream Edu's Public Works Division has been consistently participating in the Seoul Run project, Seoul's representative education support policy, and is contributing to expanding students' learning opportunities and eliminating the educational gap.
