
Generative artificial intelligence (AI) startup 42Maru (CEO Dong-Hwan Kim) announced that it participated in the 'AI·Digital Social Transition Symposium' held at Post Tower in Myeongdong, Seoul on the 1st, and participated in discussions on the social impact of AI technology and response measures.
Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and co-hosted by the National Intelligence Service (NIA) and the Korea Information and Communications Technology Association (ICT Association), the symposium was themed "The Era of AI Transformation: A Future Shaped by Technology and People Together." Participants from academia, industry, and civil society participated in the event, which analyzed the impact of AI technology on jobs, fairness, and social value from various angles and explored ways to utilize AI in a human-centered way.
FortyTwoMaru CEO Kim Dong-hwan participated as a speaker and presented on the topic, "AI Basic Society, Job Evolution, and New Challenges." He presented examples of industrial applications of large language models (LLMs) and explained the impact of generative AI technology on the labor market and work environment.
Furthermore, CEO Kim participated in a panel discussion and emphasized the need for social discussion on the changes in occupational groups due to the advancement of AI technology. He particularly emphasized the importance of institutional preparation and social consensus to respond to the structural changes in industry brought about by the introduction of AI, and emphasized the need to ensure fairness and inclusiveness during the technology adoption process.
FortiTumaru is developing a variety of business AI solutions, including search, question-answering, and document analysis, based on generative AI technology, and is expanding its use cases in specialized fields such as public, financial, and legal sectors.
