Seoul Jeongmin School Signs Business Agreement with Jamjam Therapeutics

Seoul Jeongmin School announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with JamJam Therapeutics, a digital rehabilitation content company, to promote digital rehabilitation education for children with disabilities. The agreement aims to introduce the rehabilitation training game "JamJam400" into special education settings, supporting the improvement of students' hand function and enabling ongoing training at home.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will begin operating the program in earnest starting in the second semester of the 2025 school year, with customized, digital-based rehabilitation training being implemented for students at Seoul Jeongmin School. This collaboration is attracting attention as a case study of practical educational innovation through public-private partnerships in the field of special education.

JamJam Therapeutics provides schools with personalized accounts for each student, enabling school-to-home rehabilitation training. Experts, including a pediatric occupational therapist with 17 years of experience and a physical therapist with 16 years of experience, enhance the effectiveness of training through non-face-to-face feedback. This professionally-driven approach is considered a factor that increases the program's potential for nationwide expansion and adoption.

Additionally, JamJam Therapeutics is expanding its "JamJam400 Rehabilitation Challenge" program to the general public from September 29th to October 3rd, during the Chuseok holiday period. This program targets children with developmental delays, such as autism and brain damage, and is designed to provide professional rehabilitation support at home through non-face-to-face exercise content with professional therapists.

The program's operating schedule and detailed procedures are currently being jointly coordinated by Seoul Jeongmin School and Jam Jam Therapeutics. Analysis of the program's educational and social outcomes will also be released in the future. To protect students' personal information, video and image data will be strictly managed.

This agreement represents a prime example of digital rehabilitation content being applied in a real-world special education setting. Through a multifaceted approach, including expert participation, family engagement, and effectiveness verification, it holds promise for development as a model school. The education community sees this model as a turning point, potentially enabling its expansion to other special education schools.

“Our goal is to create a rehabilitation environment where children with disabilities can train at their own pace and where schools and families work together,” said Kim Jeong-eun, CEO of Jam Jam Therapeutics. “We will achieve meaningful results through our collaboration with Seoul Jeongmin School.”
